The Day the World Changed

Twelve years ago today my assistant Sonya and I were feverishly tying up loose ends as my wife and I were leaving in a couple of days for two weeks in Europe. We got a phone call and turned on the little TV I had in the back. We stood there watching and thinking what a horrible accident, then we saw the second plane hit and then knew the truth that this was no accident.
We as Americans lost our false sense of security that day but the world changed that day for everyone everywhere.

Corporate images don’t have to be boring!

Finally I am able to show off some of the images that I did for Chambliss, Bahner and Stophel, P.C. Several months ago we started on a project to create a series of images for a new website and printed material. I was pleased with the images and wanted to share them but needed to wait until they went live with their website and design ideas. Here are a few of the images that I created for them. In addition we had the opportunity to photograph all their attorneys and some of their support staff for the website. We did a traditional head shot and a more fun casual full length portrait with personality. To see individual attorney portrait check out their cool new website. www.cbslawfirm.com.

The Mayor Will See You Now.
Posted on 07. Sep, 2013 by Cansler Photography.
Recently I had the opportunity to photograph Chattanooga’s new mayor for an feature article in Chattanooga Magazine. Fortunately I have known Andy Berke for several years so it was nice to have the opportunity to work with him again. When he walked in to his new office and saw me he gave me a hard time and said if he had known I was taking the portrait he would have worn a different suit. It is nice to work with people who are so much fun to be around! We had a short window of time to create these images as he was between meetings. Thanks Mayor Berke!
