A Saturday for Siskin

We recently did a promotion with Siskin Children’s Institute for their recent Style Works fundraiser. I wanted to share with all of you our session and images from working with Eli, Eva and Ross’ session. Eva and Ross were quick to point out to me that this was not their first visit to see Mr. Brad, and they knew the drill. So without any hesitation, they jumped out of their play clothes and into their portrait clothes. They also were also great helpers with getting Eli in position for his individual shots. Eli was such a little trooper toward the end of our session when we kept stealing the linen shirt off of his back to iron out the wrinkles, but it makes it all worth it when the shots end up being this cute. We had a fun little Saturday session, and we ended up with a truck load of great stuff!

Steppin out with Susannah

Susannah is our rep at Boyd-Buchanan, and we are so excited to have her participate in the Senior Rep program. We started our session by doing some more traditional shots outside. It was a gorgeous day out, not to mention everything was in full bloom! Susannah had a great spring time outfit, and we really couldn’t have asked for better lighting with the way the sun was hitting her hair!
Our next location is new, and we were ready to find out what kind of cool shots we could get in front of some old trains at the Choo Choo. We had a hard time picking which one to share with all of you because we had so many that turned out awesome!
Finally we ended up at another new spot we scouted for our 2010 seniors, and even if it was cold out, which it wasn’t, Susannah’s bright red pumps would have heated things up! Paired with her black pea coat and hounds tooth scarf this outfit almost made us wish for winter again…NOT!
We had a great time with our new rep Susannah, and hope all of you will stay on the look out for more to come! Susanah1846Susanah1850

A Simply Adorable Session with Addison

I knew this session was going to be a heart melter when I saw little Addison come in to the studio with bouncy little curls and pink p.j.s! We quickly decided on her pink dress with matching bow for her formal portraits. We knew we were on to something great when Addison kept striking poses that required a mandatory “awww” afterward.Addison4258Keeping with our pink theme for the session we ditched the dress and grabbed Addison’s ballet tutu and tee for some casual and fun shots of her in the front room, and she continued to pose like a pro and play it up for the camera. This shot is definitely one of our favorites! I think Addison’s favorite bracelet she’s wearing adds just a little something extra. Addison4373

For our next to last look in this tiny super model’s session, we decide to have some fun downstairs in the studio. Addison had no problem when we told her she had to stand on the bench instead of sit. She also seems to have a knack at coming up with the cutest poses that just seem to come naturally to her! Let me tell you, if there were a tiny tots version of America’s Next Top Model, Addison would be giving all those other girls a run for their money. We had a blast and can’t wait to show her mom the great stuff we did outside too!
