The birth of a child. Amazing isn’t it, what that one little sentence conveys? The laughter, the smiling parents’ faces, all the brightness of a new life. Rondi and Mike are experiencing all of these wonderful things for the first time with Blake, the beautiful baby boy in these portraits.
This family is just as beautiful in person as in their portraits. The day of the session, both parents were calm and soft spoken. And they had only been parents for a week! Blake was a perfect angel, asleep for most of the session.
Rondi and Mike, congratulations and thank you for allowing us to be a part of this special time. We hope to be to share many more important moments with your family!

The Fashionista

My friend Christine called and told me about a new venture that her daughter was starting. Madison has always been one of my favorite young ladies to work with and I was excited that she was going for something that she wanted to do. Madison is designing clothing and having a blast with it. When mom showed me the designs I knew that she was going to do well because the looks were classic, contemporary and original.
Since I have been photographing Madison since she was 2 years old she wanted me to do her fashion shoots. I have been working on incorporating more fashion shots into my high school senior images so I had been getting some good practice.
Madison is busy working on her new designs and we look forward to showcasing the new looks for her. She has picked out a couple of models and the designs are being finished. I can’t wait!

Get on (skate)board!

Will knew he wanted a senior portrait of himself and his skateboard before he even came into the studio. After asking how well could do some of the tricks, i.e. can he do them without getting hurt and getting us in trouble with his mother, we decided to capture a few action shots. Which, naturally, meant it would start to rain! But we were still able to play around and get these!

Mike and Rondi are just as sweet, kind and loving as you saw them at the photo shoot. Blake will grow up in a very happy home. I especially like the way Mike is holding Blake’s little foot. I will treasure these pictures forever! (Mike is my first grandchild)……Janet Doseff
