“It’s fine, it’s my sister’s dress”

Meg came in for her senior Art Elite session yesterday morning, and had all of her outfit changes organized and ready to go. This always makes life easier for us when this happens, but we do enjoy switching and mix matching our clients choices. We really can’t help ourselves. Meg totally rocked out this session. She was cool, calm, and confident in front of the camera. There was no wasting time getting comfortable with this girl.Gorman7116

With flowers blooming and the grass still looking lush and green from the early morning dew we couldn’t resist doing something in the park. Meg didn’t even mind the wet grass slippers she got while walking bare foot, and when I went to wipe of the park bench to make sure it was clean enough for her to sit on in her dress she gave me the comment of the week…”it’s cool, it’s my sister’s dress.” From one younger sister to another I could totally relate, and fell in love with her immediately. Brad, who photographed her older sister a few years earlier for her senior portraits, then shared his theory of The Spoiled Younger Siblings. After some well made points Meg and I both agreed that in reality our parents, like many other, had to try again because they didn’t get it right the first time. (I kid, of course.)Gorman7141

Meg’s session was amazing, and I can’t wait for her to come Gorman7238in to see all of her images. I’m also betting there may be a sister competition on who had the better senior portraits, to which we all can be sure will result in a tie.
