Fun session today with Steve Nicola of Smart Homes. Always great to work with long term clients and do something new. This is in Steve’s new showroom and I had a fun challenge creating this image and others. We had to eliminate all window and light reflections on the glass and televisions. Lots of blocking of light!!! Thanks Steve for allowing me to create cool images for you and your staff. Here is a sneak peek.Nicola1

You are the only real photographer left, everyone else just takes pictures!

Crazy last couple of days. 19 professional portrait sessions plus a couple of other regular portraits. Plus PR photographs for the Chattanooga Theatre Centre. Plus designed two ads, wrote copy for newsletter, designed a cool collage for a client, designed a graduation card using a portrait from 16 yrs ago plus a current one, narrowed down twenty one sessions. I guess that is why I am tired! Awesome to be busy. One of the sessions I did today gave me a nice complement, he said “I came to you because you are the only real portrait photographer left, everyone else just takes pictures”. Obviously his opinion, of course I would never argue with a client!

So far behind, working today at the studio to try and catch up. Here is an image that I did a few days ago. I first met Hodgen when he came into the studio to do an image for Dancing With the Stars. He was scheduled to come back in just a few days later for a professional series of images for his new position. I really like this image in B&W. Awesome job Hodgen! Thanks. Hodgen
