One of my friends who is a photographer in another state gives me a hard time constantly about my rough days at the office. Here is an example of a very “rough” day photographing the gorgeous Katherine for her senior portraits. Thanks to Katherine we were able to do all kinds of fun images.Robbins_98356_FB Robbins_98433_FB

Wonderful Family Session

Thursday night was a beautiful evening and I had the fun of working with another one of my favorite families. We first met them several years ago. It has been a blast being a part of the kids lives. Now the oldest is off to Hawaii with his wife for school. One last family portrait before the move. We did fun, classic and silly but ended with this one taking advantage of the wonderful location and the killer evening light. Pretty cool job, I get to spend time with friends!!! Thanks everyone.

A Mother’s Love

Mom needed professional portraits for work so she came in today for that. Benjamin was sitting quietly in the dressing room waiting for mom to finish. I told mom I would love to do a portrait of the two of you since he is here. She is like he is not going to want to do that so I said let me ask him, you know the old let someone else ask my kid to do something so they won’t roll their eyes routine! So I went in and pulled my con, of course being a polite young man he agreed. I got what I wanted and I think mom just might have too! For the one image I chose a very soft look but for the second one I went for more dramatic. Love black and white!Dendy_95530_FBDendy_95523_FB
