One of my friends who is a photographer in another state gives me a hard time constantly about my rough days at the office. Here is an example of a very “rough” day photographing the gorgeous Katherine for her senior portraits. Thanks to Katherine we were able to do all kinds of fun images.

A Mother’s Love

Mom needed professional portraits for work so she came in today for that. Benjamin was sitting quietly in the dressing room waiting for mom to finish. I told mom I would love to do a portrait of the two of you since he is here. She is like he is not going to want to do that so I said let me ask him, you know the old let someone else ask my kid to do something so they won’t roll their eyes routine! So I went in and pulled my con, of course being a polite young man he agreed. I got what I wanted and I think mom just might have too! For the one image I chose a very soft look but for the second one I went for more dramatic. Love black and white!
