Breathtaking Portrait On The River
Posted on 10. Dec, 2016 by Cansler Photography.
How far will we go to create an art piece that our clients will love? This morning met one of my high school seniors who is a coxswain! She loves being part of the team (and obviously she is good at it!) It was important to create an image that is unique. We have done the beautiful portraits already but scheduling this segment of her session was challenging because of the coach, the boys and the senior all being available outside practice. This morning it was 22 degrees (bloody cold for us southerners) my hands froze but nothing compared to the team of boys and my girl! I love the challenge of creating something unique, the bad or shall I say fun thing her younger brother is already planning his senior portraits, no telling what I will have to do!

Dramatic Senior Portrait
Posted on 27. Nov, 2016 by Cansler Photography.
Another dramatic senior portrait. We had to delay this image for a couple months because of an injury. Once Braden was given the all clear we brought in a 12ft step ladder. I am perched precariously on top of the ladder while mom and my wife Helen are freaking out worried I am going to fall. Braden was a great sport as he had to do this over and over to get he lighting and angle just right. Great images rarely just happen then they take planning and foresight! Finally, I had what I wanted and I climbed down and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. A big thank to everyone for allowing me to create this image.
