Surving the Rain

Wow, how nice it was to see the rain end today! On the way into work I was surprised to see about 8 inches flowing rapidly across the road where I would never have expected there to be flooding. It wasn’t a low lying area or someplace that normally floods but I guess the extreme amount of rain runoff just overwhelmed the drains and drainage ditches. Life is always full of surprises. I was talking with a business acquaintance and he was telling how a  part of the basement wall collapsed because of ground saturation and this is in a new home.  I hope all of you are safe and undamaged.
