Boy oh Boy oh Boy oh Boy!

What does a photographer do with four boys ranging from college to elementary school? Whatever Mom wants of course! These four were cooperative all through the changing of clothes, posing, Brad and his never-ending, I mean meticulous, shots. The only time they balked was in the original plan for the shot below. In which they were supposed to be positioned MUCH closer together. And then we were told that it was weird and they weren’t getting that close to each other! Naturally, Brad, Mom, and I thought this was hilarious, but the boys did not. So the shot below is the compromise.See, getting a portrait taken isn’t bad at all! We even let you have your way sometimes! Honestly though, the shoot was a lot of fun. I think these four actually like each other [Just from a distance!! 😉 ].

Beautiful girl, beautiful clothes!

Reagan came in for senior portraits and brought the clothes of someone who knows what she likes. Not one other girl has brought in a shorts one-piece jumpsuit! And she brought accessories too!! Loved, loved, loved her!

The sheer variety made Brad and me very, very happy! We love choices. And if you will let us, we pick lots of different things. Reagan was open minded enough to let us choose at will. And look at the results! Great photos! The fact that the subject was beautiful to begin with may have had a little to do with that but we’ll take all the credit our clients will let us get away with!! Ha ha ha!

Reagan, you are adorable! You have a great wardrobe too!

Twins + 1

These three are adorable!  Twins, a baby, and all girls! Dad is seriously outnumbered. But he didn’t seem to mind at all. Mom brought the baby in for her 1 year portrait to match the twins. And naturally the twins were not to be left out so the session had to be expanded to include a portrait of all three!

Here is the behind the scenes; baby is wriggling and confused, one twin is trying to be a little momma, and the other is over it and ready to go! But I swear I’m not complaining, they were well behaved children and for as long as we made them sit for photos I’m surprised we didn’t have a full insurrection on our hands. Kids are great, you never know what will happen! Mom and Dad were fantastic too! They’ve been through the routine enough to know when to step in and when to let it alone. Which makes things much easier for Brad and me.

As always, Brad got great portraits. Mom and Dad were thrilled! And the kids were able to get on with being kids again…….
