Generations

It seems just like yesterday that I was creating a portrait of the man and his brothers for their mother. Oh well I guess it has been 14 years. They sure have flown by! Mom and dad and their son came in for family portraits. It is a great honor to have a second generation that I am now having the fun of working with! Thanks dad and mom!Just couldn’t wait to share these images! Braden was amazing for a 3 year old. He followed directions!!!! Braden being a super cooperative little man and doing whatever we asked.

Cansler evening get together

Last evening my family got together for dinner at my folks farm. It was supposed to be yucky weather so we didn’t plan on doing a family portrait but since I had my camera equipement in the car and it was nice we did several. Here is the whole gang, it was fun running back and forth to the camera then trying to look normal!
After photographing my family Sydney wanted to do a new portrait with her grandparents. She is taller than my mom now so we had to show that off.Last we did a family portrait of our family. Helen and Sydney are photographed a lot but I rarely get in the photographs. Since the whole family was together my brother in law Jerry pushed the button.

Restoring an image from the past

Working on the computer to restore a treasured portrait for a client of his father. It is really cool to see the faded and damaged image come back to life. This was an color image from 40 years ago when color printing was still not very stable. Fortunately he had a small print in a box to use for reference.
